Clarence Valley Baptist Church is A Family Church Meeting Family Needs.

Grounded by the Word of God, Clarence Valley Baptist Church, held its first services on July 4th, 1986. We are a fundamental, Bible-believing church, seeking to promote the name and gospel of the Saviour, Jesus Christ, in our community and beyond. We pray you’ll be blessed and helped by the information found on this website.

 

Why You Need The Saviour

May we please take a moment to share some Bible verses with you that tell you about a great gift you can receive the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, God’s Son.

​

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and the not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works lest any man should boast. Eph. 2:8,9.

​

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

​

But as many as received him (Jesus Christ), to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. John 1:12

Who We Are

​

We are a group of blood bought believers gathered together in a local church under our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ.

​

Our purpose is to bring Glory and Honour to the name of God and his Son JESUS CHRIST through whom we have been redeemed, justified and sanctified. We do this by meeting together on Sundays for Praise and Worship together as well as teaching from Gods word to us. We also meet together on Wednesdays to pray together as a church to ensure strong spiritual growth and the needs of the church can be met. We are not closed to anyone who is willing to come along and join in fellowship or just wants to find out more about the wonderful relationship that we have in Christ.

We have many other activities within the church that reach out to the community. On Friday nights we hold our Sparks and AWANA kids clubs. These clubs are designed for those from kinder to year 2 (Sparks) and Grade 3 to 6 (AWANA).

​

On Friday Nights at 7.00 pm we hold our Senior Youth Group known as ProTeens. This club is designed for those in year 7 through to year 12.

​

Each Sunday we hold Sunday school for all ages. There are classes for everyone and they are held every Sunday morning throughout the year.

​

Each Sunday during the Morning Service we also have Children’s church for children up to year 6 in school.

We also have a Bible College for those who wish to broaden their knowledge of the Bible. Classes are held on Monday and Tuesdays of every week and we also offer correspondance courses for those who can’t attend classes here in Grafton.

​

Our Ladies meet for Ladies meeting every three weeks on Wednesday for the ladies to have fellowship together.
